Google Doodle New Year's Eve 2019
In yearly Google custom, the tech titan’s doodle squad has fashioned an interesting animated illustration to get you in the New Year’s Eve get-together mood.
Previous year, it
was a group of feathery bird
friends appreciating the fireworks. This time round, it’s a couple
of purple elephants get into party hats and blowing up colorful balloons. The search
engine’s inspired custom dates back to 1998, beforehand Google was even
incorporated.
According to the company
itself, originators Larry Page and Sergey Brin played around with
the corporate logo “to specify their presence at the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert.”
Burning Man Festival (Google)
“They placed a stick character drawing behindhand
the 2nd ‘o’ in the word, Google, and the revised logo was intended as a comical
memo to Google users that the originators were ‘out of office.’ While the initial
doodle was moderately humble, the impression of decorating the company logo to rejoice
notable events was born.
Now Google has an
whole team of illustrators and engineers devoted to “enliven the Google homepage and bring smirks to the faces of Google users around the ecosphere.”
